QBC Camps for 2013

One of the things we like to do regularly as a church community is get away together to enjoy some of the beauty of this great country and to spend time together as a family.

In 2012 we held 3 camps, the first was in Yanchep (yes – 15 minutes up the road…), the second was a fantastic weeklong expedition to Exmouth and the third to Ledge Point. All were great times for building those significant kinds of relationships that make us a family and that are hard to form in the brief period after church on a Sunday morning.

This year we have 2 camps planned again and one ‘shared holiday’ in the middle of the year for those who are able to get away during school term times. Jeremy is man to speak to if you would like to know more.

The camps lined up for 2013 are:

March 22-24 – Guilderton – close to home and easy access for those who may just want to drop up for the day. Guilderton or Moore River is a beautiful spot with great beaches and a safe river right on the door of the Caravan park.

To book your spot contact the caravan park direct and let them know you are with Quinns Baptist. The Caravan park website is http://www.guildertoncaravanpark.com.au/

There are chalet’s available for those who do not wish to camp.

There is no official QBC mid-year camp but for anyone who wants to take a holiday up north in the middle of the year then this might interest you:

June 1-8 – Kalbarri – this is a 6 hr drive from Perth and Kalbarri is another stunning spot, with beaches, river and gorges to climb.

A few of us will be staying at the Anchorage Caravan Park for the week and we’d invite anyone who would like to join us to make the trip up. Just call them up, make a booking, pay your deposit and let them know you are with Jeremy and Coby.

Spring TBA – there will be another camp later in the year with a destination and date to be advised.

We’d love to have you join us on these times if you are able!
